El último informe médico indicó que la situación de Gustavo Cerati “sigue siendo crítica persistiendo en coma”, y que éste requirió una operación para tratar el cuadro de hidrocefalia que había sufrido.

El cantante argentino Gustavo Cerati cumple este miércoles sus 51 años de edad en estado de coma y dentro de un clínica en Buenos Aires, tras sufrir hace casi tres meses un ACV (Accidente cerebrovascular). Familiares y amigos han dejado mensajes a través de las redes sociales para brindarle apoyo y solidaridad al músico.

Como manera de celebrar el cumpleaños de Cerati y brindarle energía, sus seres queridos hicieron un llamado para usar este miércoles una cinta o listón verde para darle “energía y buenas vibras”.

En su cuenta en Twitter simplemente reza “Feliz cumpleaños Gus” y en Facebook se multiplican los mensajes de aliento y de angustia de sus fans.

“Hoy nuestro deseo y el de muchísima gente es solo uno: tu recuperación. Te amamos y te esperaremos todo lo que sea necesario”, fue el mensaje que escribió la familia del cantante a través de su página oficial.

El último informe médico entregado el 3 de agosto indicó que Cerati fue operado “para tratar el cuadro de hidrocefalia relacionado a su infarto hemisférico” y que “la situación actual sigue siendo crítica persistiendo en coma”.

En este sentido, una serie de rumores han corrido por los medios de comunicación y redes sociales que iban desde un posible estado vegetativo, un cuadro de meningitis hasta la propia muerte del ex integrante de Soda Stereo, pero los médicos no han confirmado ninguna de las hipótesis.

El daño sufrido por el cantante argentino “compromete la capacidad para despertar voluntariamente (Â…) Cuanto antes se despiertan mejor es el pronóstico en cuanto a la recuperación de las funciones afectadas”, aseguró el experto de la Sociedad Argentina de Neurología Luciano Sposato.

El pasado 15 de mayo, Gustavo Cerati sufrió un ACV tras ofrecer un espectáculo en la Universidad Simón Bolívar en Caracas (capital venezolana) en el marco de su gira Fuerza Natural.

Poco después de la presentación Cerati debía retornar a su país, sin embargo en la mañana del 16 de mayo experimentó un fuerte de dolor de pecho y cabeza lo cual ameritó su traslado inmediato al Centro Médico Docente, en el sur de Caracas, donde se le diagnóstico el ACV.

Posteriormente, en junio de este año el cantante argentino fue trasladado a Argentina, donde fue hospitalizado en la clínica de la Fundación para la Lucha contra las Enfermedades Neurológicas de la Infancia (Fleni), con sede en Buenos Aires.

Hace cuatro años, el intérprete latinoamericano fue diagnosticado con una trombosis venosa, una infección que lo obligó a reflexionar sobre desprenderse de ciertos hábitos como el cigarrillo y mejorar el cuidado de su salud.
